A complimentary 15-minute consultation is a brief, no-obligation phone or virtual conversation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit. It is not a therapy session, but a space to share what’s bringing you in, ask questions about my approach, review fees and availability, and ensure your needs align with my scope of practice.
Individual psychotherapy sessions (virtual or teletherapy) are 50 minutes and held virtually through a secure, PHIPA-compliant platform (OWL) in addition to extended therapy sessions. Each session offers a confidential, structured space to explore your experiences, patterns, and challenges at a supportive pace. Therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and readiness.
Thirty-minute check-in sessions are available for current or returning clients seeking brief, focused support. These sessions are not designed for crisis intervention or to begin therapy. New clients must start with a full 50-minute session to allow for appropriate exploration, goal setting, and treatment planning.
All services at Inner Essence are provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. Many major insurance companies offer partial coverage for psychotherapy, but coverage varies depending on your specific plan. It’s important to review your policy, including any limits on the number of sessions or annual reimbursement.
Inner Essence focuses on providing depth-oriented, long-term psychotherapy, which may extend beyond the number of sessions covered by insurance. While we do not provide direct billing to insurance providers, we supply receipts with all necessary details for you to submit claims for reimbursement. Checking coverage in advance helps you plan and access services confidently.
Please use our online booking system, OWL, to schedule appointments and view the most up-to-date availability. Credit card payments are subject to a $4 processing fee. To avoid this fee, alternative payment methods may be available.
