Sessions can be spaced further apart when needed, based on your availability and preference.

No. In Ontario, only medical doctors, clinical psychologists, or psychological associates can provide a formal diagnosis. Registered Psychotherapists can offer assessment, support, and guidance if you wish to pursue a diagnosis, though a formal diagnosis is not required to participate in therapy.

In the first session, we will review our policies and what to expect in psychotherapy, to ensure we obtain your fully informed consent to participate.
The majority of the session will be spent asking questions to gather information about what brings you to therapy, as well as other important personal history and current circumstances.
You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about therapy or about working with Nicole.
